The 3rd Principle of the 5 Novice Principles of Kyusho Jitsu this one take a lot of work to fully understand.
The Yin/Yang symbol is one of the oldest in the world, and one of the most misunderstood. People look at it and equate it with opposites, which it is not. It is in fact, a “whole.” The name of the chapter is not really correct either. It is not Yin and Yang, but Yin/Yang.
This principle is DEEP and one that can stand on its own. It represents completeness within incompleteness as s well as incompleteness within completeness. But it has direct relationships to every principle! The first place I will begin with the principle is to look at the body. You can divide the body up into various segments. The front of the body is YIN, and the back of the body is YANG. The top half is YANG, the bottom half is YIN etc. We have Yin organs and meridians, and Yang organs and meridians. But NONE are completely one or the other. Just as light leads to darkness, darkness leads to light.
